Buying My Zen House

I am not crazy about the layout of my current house, especially the fact that I do not have a pool. So a few months ago I started looking at houses with my patient realtor. I told her I wanted a pool and I wanted to be close to my kids.

Every house I looked at felt like a house. But when I walked into one house, it felt like a home. I instantly felt a sense of peace come over me when I walked into the living room.

The back yard reminded me of the Rain Forest Cafe restaurant, with green everywhere. A beautiful pool with a waterfall, and a Koi pond with fish and turtles.

And the kitchen counter was big enough to seat all of my family. I put a bid in on the house and the offer was accepted.

Today was the official closing, and I received the keys to my Zen Home. I have owned quite a few houses in my life, but this is the first one I am actually in love with. Plus the fact that only one name is on the title makes me happier. I can fall in love or even get married again, but no matter what happens in the relationship, the house will always be mine!
